Insights

The Insights page gives you two dashboards — My Garden Trends for tracking your own progress, and Community Comparisons for seeing how growers in similar climates approach the same challenges. Access both via Growing → Insights in the navigation.

Insights is a subscriber-only feature. You need an active Grower, Hub, or Organisation subscription to view these dashboards. See the Subscription page for plan details.

My Garden Trends

This dashboard focuses on your personal data and helps you spot patterns over time.

Activity Count by Month

A stacked bar chart shows how many Activities you recorded each month, broken down by type (planting, harvesting, composting, soil testing, and so on). Use it to see seasonal rhythms in your gardening practice or to check whether you are recording consistently.

Observation Trend Over Time

Select a variable — such as pH, temperature, moisture, or organic matter — and an Element from your garden. A line chart plots every recorded value on a timeline, so you can see how that variable has changed across the season or year. This is especially useful for tracking soil health improvements or comparing growing conditions between beds.

Community Comparisons

This dashboard draws on aggregate data from all Libre Grow users to help you learn from the wider community.

What Works in Your Climate Zone

Based on your profile's climate zone, this panel ranks the most commonly used Methods among growers in the same zone. It is a quick way to discover techniques that other growers in similar conditions have found effective.

Observation Averages by Climate Zone

Select a variable (for example, soil pH) and a bar chart displays the average, minimum, and maximum values recorded by growers in each climate zone. Compare your own readings against the community to see whether your results are typical or exceptional.

Privacy

Community data is only displayed when three or more growers have recorded values for a given variable and zone. No individual grower's data is ever exposed — all community charts show aggregate statistics only.

Technical Notes

All charts are powered by Chart.js and load data dynamically via the Libre Grow API. Dashboards update each time you open the page, so you always see the latest figures without needing to refresh manually.
