Libre Grow makes it easy to share your gardening progress with the wider world. Whether you want to post a harvest photo to social media or send a detailed Activity log to a fellow grower, the sharing tools have you covered.

Share Cards

Every Activity has a Share button in its detail view. Click it to generate a visual share card — a 1200 × 630 pixel PNG image designed for social media. The card includes the Activity title, a summary, key data points, and your Hub branding. It is sized perfectly for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp previews.

The Share button gives you two options:

• Download PNG — saves the 1200 × 630 share card image to your device so you can manually upload it to any social media platform, messaging app, or email.
• Create & Copy Share Link — generates a unique, token-based URL and copies it to your clipboard. When you paste this link into Facebook, WhatsApp, or any platform that supports rich previews, the recipient sees the share card image, the Activity title, and a short description automatically — thanks to Open Graph meta tags embedded in the page.

Share Links

Share links are unique, token-based URLs. When someone opens a share link they see a read-only, public view of your Activity — no login required. This is useful for sharing a soil test result with a gardening forum or sending a compost temperature log to a friend.

Each link contains a random token, so only people who have the link can access the page. You can revoke a share link at any time from the Activity's sharing settings.

Open Graph Meta Tags

When you paste a share link into Facebook, Twitter, or any platform that reads Open Graph tags, the platform automatically fetches a rich preview. The preview displays the share card image, the Activity title, and a short description. No extra steps required — just paste the link and post.

Visibility Controls

You decide what is shareable. Both Journal entries and Activities have visibility settings:

Setting	Who Can See It
Private	Only you.
Hub	Members of the same Hub.
Public	Anyone with the share link or who finds it in the community feed.

Combine visibility controls with share cards and links to share exactly what you want, with exactly who you want — from a quick WhatsApp message to a polished social media post about your latest tomato harvest.
