Training Courses
Libre Grow includes structured training courses that teach you how to use the platform while building real growing records. Courses are self-paced, so you can work through them whenever it suits you, whether that is a rainy Saturday afternoon or ten minutes each morning before heading outside.
Regenerative Garden Records — A 4-Week Introduction
This free course is the best way to get started with Libre Grow. Over four modules and twelve lessons it walks you from your first login to a fully documented growing season.
| Week | Module | Lessons | What You Will Do |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Know Your Site | 3 | Create elements for your garden zones, map microclimates, and record baseline observations as activities. |
| 2 | Understand Your Soil | 3 | Follow the Jar Soil Texture Test method, log pH and nutrient readings, and compare results across beds. |
| 3 | Plan and Build | 3 | Set up a project for the coming season, create branches for spring and summer, and plan activities using methods. |
| 4 | Plant, Record, Share | 3 | Log sowing and transplanting activities, photograph progress, and share a summary with your hub. |
Hands-On Assignments
Each lesson ends with a practical assignment that creates real data on your Libre Grow account. For example, the Week 2 assignment asks you to perform a jar test on three beds, record the results as activities, and compare the texture triangles. By the time you finish the course you will have a genuine, structured record of your site, not just practice exercises.
Navigating Courses and Lessons
Open Training from the main menu. Select a course to see its module list. Click any module to expand its lessons. Each lesson page contains:
- Reading material — concise explanations with illustrations.
- Step-by-step walkthrough — screenshots showing exactly where to click in Libre Grow.
- Assignment — the practical task you complete on the platform.
- Progress indicator — a checkmark appears once you finish the assignment, and a progress bar tracks your overall course completion.
Because courses are entirely self-paced, there are no deadlines. You can revisit any lesson at any time to refresh your memory or repeat an assignment with new data from a different season.
