Libre Grow offers a free account for browsing and a paid subscription for growers who want to record, analyse, and share their work. Every new account includes a 90-day full-access trial when you enrol in the four-week introductory course.
Free Account
With a free account you can:
- Browse and follow published Methods.
- Shop for seeds, plants, and supplies.
- Participate in the community — follow growers, join Hubs, and read the feed.
- Enrol in the four-week introductory course (includes a 90-day full-access trial).
- Conduct peer reviews — peer review is always free.
After the trial period ends, recording new Activities requires a subscription. Your existing data remains fully viewable and exportable at any time.

Managing Your Subscription
All billing is handled through the Stripe Customer Portal. Navigate to Growing → Subscription Settings to:
- Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan.
- Update your payment method.
- View invoices and payment history.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What happens to my data if I cancel?
- Your data is never deleted. You keep full read and export access to everything you have recorded. You simply cannot create new Activities until you resubscribe.
- Can I self-host instead?
- Yes. Libre Grow is open-source software. You are free to run your own instance at no cost. The subscription funds the hosted service, development, and community infrastructure.
- What is included in the trial?
- The 90-day trial unlocks every feature available on the Grower plan. You can record Activities, log Observations, use Insights, and share your work — no payment details required until the trial ends.
